A screening of the films of Charles and Ray Eames.

The legacy of Charles and Ray Eames extends far beyond their classic furniture pieces. Taking a multidisciplinary approach to design long before that was the norm, the Eameses created more than100 short films between 1950 and 1982. Join us for a screening of seven films, ranging from one to 30 minutes in length, they cover topics from toy tops to the world of Franklin and Jefferson, from simple sea creatures to the explanation of advanced mathematical and scientific concepts.

Beer and popcorn will be served.

RSVP to adamsmorgan@dwr.com by June 16.

New Gagosian poster

Poster and catalogue for a major exhibition to mark the fiftieth anniversary of Richard Hamilton's definition of Pop Art designed by Graphic Thought Facility and Peter Saville. I just think it's a great piece.

Granted the post is a little late...
